Veitch Penny Solicitors of Exeter and Crediton are now in proud possession of the Devon and Somerset Law Society Challenge Cup (DASLS)!
Veitch Penny Solicitors were recently presented with the cup after coming joint first in the 2008-09 tournament. The cup is now proudly on display in their Exeter office reception.
The DASLS Challenge is a fun tournament of sports events. Firms of solicitors score points by entering teams into various rounds.
Veitch Penny Solicitors proved themselves to be firm all rounder’s, by taking part in various events such as; beach sports, skittles, five aside football, and tag rugby.
Team members included Marie Macfarlane, Joanne Pruden, Lorna Herring, and Katie Blackburn.
A central theme of the Devon and Somerset Law Society’s activity is to provide opportunities for members to network with one another. Legal practice has changed to the extent that there are few opportunities to meet colleagues from other firms and disciplines. The Society is committed to providing a range of events that enable members of all ages to meet with one another on an informal basis.
Veitch Penny is sporting inside the office too. The firm is more than surviving the credit crunch with no redundancies and actually taking on additional members of staff to ensure that they are able to continue to provide a quality service.
The firm has also increased the number of new clients and their geographical coverage. The local firm has recently improved its national exposure and is now working on behalf of Authorities in Surrey and Greater London.
Veitch Penny Solicitors is thriving throughout the firm and prides itself on being a substantial practice with the reputation of a London firm, but with highly competitive local rates with its roots strongly tied in the West Country. The firm is able to deal with all your domestic and business needs, and invite you to pop in for a free initial chat to help you understand your rights.
