If you’ve just put your house on the market we recommend our Exchange Ready service. This free service can help speed up the conveyancing process and make your house sale run more smoothly.

We complete the preliminary legal paperwork before you have a buyer, so as soon as your home is under offer you are already one step ahead. Using our Exchange Ready service can significantly reduce the time taken to exchange contracts.

Even if you decide not to proceed or you don’t find a buyer and take your home off the market, we don’t charge for this initial service.

How much will it cost?

When it comes to pricing a property transaction, we are up front and open with our charges.

With any sale or purchase transaction, our charges to you will consist of:

  • Our own fees for doing the work;
  • Search fees – these are charges made by Local Authorities, the Land Registry and other organisations to provide information on your property. These searches are an essential part of the process;
  • Bank Transfer Fees.

You may also be liable for the following charges, which are often settled from any balance from your transaction.

  • Stamp Duty;
  • Any estate agent fees.
