Jo is a specialist property lawyer who qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2008, having commenced her legal career in 2000 and moving to specialise in property matters in 2003.
She has joined the firm for an initial 3 month period as a locum to provide support to the property team. She has a wealth of experience dealing with all types of residential conveyancing in England and Wales, including sales, purchases, mortgages, transfers, freehold, leasehold, registered, unregistered, new homes, plots and parcels of land, transfers of equity, mortgages/re-mortgages, declarations of trust and general property advice.
Jo has also worked on various commercial conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases of development sites, option agreements, overage deeds, licences, buy-to-let properties, residential conveyancing for corporate clients, leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions and grants/assignments of commercial leases.
Jo endeavours maintain high standards and commitment to the job and supporting clients through their property transactions, understanding that each transaction is different and every client matters.
In 2017 Jo also commenced studying in her own time to become a Licensed Probate Practitioner, to broaden her knowledge in private client matters, such as Wills, Administration of Estates and Probate matters.
